What's New
Due to an oversight by the Election Committee, the written consent ballot
sent in the April/May Mensa Bulletin was formatted for a simple majority
election in Region 9. This was incorrect as our bylaws state that the election
must be preferential. Because of this error and the confusion it has caused,
all eligible voters in Region 9 will receive a replacement written consent
ballot for the Region 9 election. This replacement ballot will be mailed via
first class mail on May 13, 2005.
* Please complete this replacement written consent ballot and mail it to
be received by May 31, 2005. Your vote for RVC 9 will be counted from this
ballot ONLY.
* If you have already submitted the white ballot from your April/May Mensa
Bulletin, thank you. All of your choices -- except for RVC 9 -- will be
counted from that ballot.
* If you have not submitted the white ballot from your April/May Mensa
Bulletin, please note it must be sent in its attached envelope to be received
by May 31, 2005. DO NOT SEND THE WHITE NATIONAL ELECTION BALLOT WITH THE
REPLACEMENT RVC BALLOT.
* Please note that the blue Mensa International ballot must be mailed
separately ALSO.
On behalf of the Election Committee, please accept our apologies for this
inconvenience.
