Viewing and Printing

To view or print the on-line MENSAN (whether Full edition or Gazette edition), you must have a reasonably current version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer. Adobe Reader is free, but it can take up to an hour to download if you have a telephone-based, narrowband, "56K" modem. (It's much faster with a broadband modem.)

If you:

• don't have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, or
• have a version which is so old that it:
  • can't download the MENSAN; or
  • gives you strange error messages; or
  • gives you distorted images;

then please:

• click on the icon below to download (just once!) the most current version of Adobe Reader; and
• install it (don't worry; it gives step-by-sep instructions).

Usually, a somewhat less current version of Adobe Reader will also work. If you already have some version of Adobe Reader on your computer, then see if it reads the newsletter. If it does, then great. If it doesn't, then please click on the above icon.

Each month's full San Diego MENSAN is, in itself, much smaller than Adobe Reader. It can be downloaded in correspondingly much less time. This is especially important on a narrowband modem.
