• Starting in November, 2004, San Diego Mensa has published a "public" Gazette edition of the MENSAN:

• The "public" Gazette is freely distributed to members and non-members alike:

  • No password is needed to access the electronic copy on our website!

  • Our Development Officer distributes both electronic and print copies to libraries, colleges, universities, and anywhere else that potential members are likely to congregate.

  • We encourage everyone (members and non-members alike) to distribute copies (electronic, print, or both) to anyone who might be interested.
     

• The "public" Gazette has everything that the regular Gazette has, except for some member-privacy-related material. Private contact information:

  • home phone number;

  • personal e-mail address;

  • street address of a private residence where an event is to be held;

  • etc.

  has been removed.
   

• Public contact information:

  • name of the monthly Open House host/hostess;

  • street address of a public place where an event is to be held:

    • restaurant;

    • hotel;

    • museum;

    • theater;

    • park;

    • etc.;

  • website URLs;

  • etc.;

  has been retained.
