Each month, during the last week or two of the month, we put the following month's issue of The MENSAN on-line, on San Diego Mensa's website. We make it easy for you to pick up your on-line copy of The MENSAN:

• We send out a mass e-mail announcement of the fact that the new issue is ready.
• Anyone can ask to be put on the announcement list ("opt in").
• Each month's announcement e-mail includes a clickable link to the new issue.
• Click on the link and you can immediately view, print, or download the new issue.
• Yes, you still need your password.

To start receiving this monthly e-mail announcement:

• Please click here. This will give you the opportunity to send a blank e-mail (no subject line, no message, just your "From:" e-mail address) to themensanisready-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
• Send that blank e-mail. It makes you a member of "The MENSAN Is Ready", which is an e-mail group of Yahoo! Groups. You'll get a confirming e-mail, which will include a link to click on.
• Click on that link. You'll be taken to a web page which:
  • confirms that you really do want to sign up; and
  • gives you the choice: "Join the group," or "Join the mailing list".
• Click on "Join the mailing list".
• Click "Continue".
• You're in!

We at San Diego Mensa respect your privacy. We will not disclose your e-mail address to anyone, and we will use your e-mail address only to send you the monthly announcement that the next month's newsletter is ready. If you'd like a broader dissemination of your e-mail address (and/or your website), then please:

• visit our list of San Diego Mensa Members' Websites (and/or e-mail Addresses), which some of our members have used to raise their Internet visibility;
• change your Privacy Preferences on file with American Mensa; and/or
• add your website to American Mensa's (Partial) List of Members' Websites.

"The MENSAN Is Ready" is not a "chat" group; it is an "announce only" group. There is only one announcement, and it only gets made once each month: "Next month's MENSAN is ready." If (like so many Mensans) you are interested in chatting, then consider joining http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sdmensa/.

"The MENSAN Is Ready" is an adjunct to the San Diego Mensa website. It is managed by the Webmaster of San Diego Mensa, webmaster@sandiego.us.mensa.org.
